Welcome

Welcome! Thank you for visiting Atlanta NAASC on the Web!

It is exciting to have you view what our chapter is doing in the Atlanta community and beyond. We are steadfast alumnae devoted to remaining connected to Spelman. We are dedicated to supporting Spelman College, through financial gifts, student recruitment, sisterhood, community service, and recognition of Spelman women. NAASC actively seeks to involve all former students and graduates in the fulfillment of its purpose.

Our chapter has come a long way since it was known as the Spelman Club and held fundraisers at the downtown Rich’s.  What has not changed over the years is our commitment to helping young women pursue their aspirations of becoming Spelman alumnae or our dedication to remaining connected to our beloved alma mater.   This year, instead of meeting every month, the Atlanta chapter will meet the first Wednesday of every other month.  Please be sure to check the website to find out the meeting dates as well as our other activities.

As the Atlanta chapter continues with the 2009-2010 year, we will continue to be a compass for change and service. We are glad that you stopped by to see our re-vamped presence on the web and hope that you will spend some time seeing all of the wonderful activities and service projects in which our chapter has participated over the past year, and our upcoming events.
